Digipak and Magazine Advert Designs
For my digipak and magazine advert I will not be using a conceptual based art as this is not common among the genre that I am expressing.
I will be using traditional photography to create a digipak and magazine advert that directly link in some way.

I have chosen to use either of these fonts for the artist name of the album. I am unsure of which one to use as I feel they both represent the artist in the right way.

The Models...
This is the natural look that I achieved in a 'practice' go for the make up. I like how it is almost invisible and makes the artist look 'down to earth'! |

Script and Shot Breakdown
This is my first draft of my script. These are the initial ideas which are very likely to change when it comes to story boarding and shot breakdown however this is the base the my music video I will be following...
Even from my script to my shot breakdown I am finding myself changing the shots and order of them to try a tell the story in a better way!
Shot Breakdown
Here are the first 2.09 minutes of the song broken down into the different shots that I am planning to use. These are likely to change in the editing process and restrictions when filming may cause shots to change. This will be what I will be using when filming the music video to ensure that I have all of the components that I will need when editing starts!
Script – ‘Last
Time’ by Taylor Swift featuring Gary Lightbody

Lyrics(coloured)/ Narration/ Music/ FX

1. LOCATION: A STREET
There
will be a sequence of tracking shot on the males’ feet that will change
between his and the ladies feet. It will also include close ups of their
faces silently walking. The idea is to show that they are walking and not
knowing where they will end up.
2. Close up shot of his face- singing first 2 lines
of the song with a blank expression.
3. LOCATION: INSIDE HOUSE
Long
shot of lady walking down stairs to the door, see who it is and sits down
showing emotion (sad).
4. LOCATION: OUTSIDE HOUSE
Long
Shot of the male on the outside of the front door. This shot will then
develop into a split screen showing both sides of the door.
5. LOCATION: STREET
Back
to a previous mid shot of his face when walking.
6. Location: BY THE HOUSE Split screen of him
singing the words against the door
7. Close up of ladies face, crying eye
8. LOCATION: STREET
Mid
shot of male walking and singing the lyrics.
9. Jump cuts between all three shots mentioned
above from male walking, female walking, to the split shot on the door.
10.
LOCATION:
IN THE HOUSE Performance based chorus including mid shot and close ups of the
artist and instruments.
11.
LOCATION:
STREET AND HOUSE
Shots
of her walking and singing at the door and in her bedroom.
12.
First
‘flash back’ walking together in a field, tracking shot.
13.
Split
screen and walking shots used again with performance shots at a piano.
14.Scene
of them arguing and him leaving out the door, a close up of her face watching
him leave and then going to sit by the door.
15.
Montage
of different memories combined with the same situations of arguing and
leaving.
16.
Combination
of the split screen and close ups of faces depending on who is singing at a
particular time. The shots will be mixed between the door and moments in time
when they argue!
17.
Close
ups of faces at door then to the split screen
18.
Walking
shots with ‘flash backs’ they start to approach each other on the same road.
19.
They
meet each other in the road and sing at each other, camera goes around them
circling around them.
20.
A
mixture of all shots before and the ending will either be her walking away
from the door or opening it to let him in… not sure though!
